Real Madrid made official the injury of Kylian Mbappé, who went off injured on Tuesday against Alavès. The Frenchman will miss several weeks of competition.
Having arrived this summer from PSG, the French player was gradually starting to find his rhythm. After a very complicated first few weeks with major physical and technical difficulties, Kylian Mbappé seemed to be getting better and better and finding automatism with his teammates. In particular, he scored 5 goals in his last 5 matches including a goal this Tuesday against Alavès (3-2).
But his evening, which had started well, ended badly as he was forced to give up his place in the 80th minute (replaced by Arda Guler) after a thigh injury.
Real Madrid was quick to communicate. The club confirmed Mbappe’s injury and the bad news. “After the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris of the left leg. Evolution pending”, we can read on the club’s official website.
The French striker will therefore undergo other tests to see the evolution of his injury but he is already out for several weeks.
