Nigeria NFF Okay Eguavoen To Continue As Super Eagles Interim Coach

The suggestion of the Technical and Development Sub-Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation’s Executive Committee was adopted on Thursday, allowing Coach Augustine Eguavoen, the Federation’s Technical Director, to continue leading the Super Eagles.

Next month, under Eguavoen’s leadership, the Super Eagles will play Libya in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification round.

The three-time African champions defeated Benin Republic 3-0 and drew scorelessly with Rwanda in Matchdays one and two earlier this month under the temporary leadership of the 58-year-old, who has previously captained the team three times.
