Africa Soccer CAF Super Cup: Al Ahly will do everything to beat Zamalek – Koller

Al Ahly coach Marcel Koller believes the CAF Super Cup clash against rivals Zamalek will be tough but his side will do everything to carry the day at at Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

“We’ve prepared the players thoroughly and hope to have the support of our fans. It’s a one-off match, and we’ll do everything we can to win. We’re highly motivated to secure the trophy and start the season strong. I’ll finalise the lineup after the last training session,” said Koller as quoted by Kingfut.

Regarding Abdelmoneim’s departure, Koller stated, “He’s no longer an Al Ahly player. Our focus is on the players we have, and I wish him the best. Whether we face Zamalek in Africa or domestically, they’re always a tough opponent.”
