Nigeria AFCON 2025Q: Ndah Doubtful For Super Eagles Doubleheader With Libya

Nigeria’s doubleheader 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Libya may be without Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah.

On October 11, Nigeria will play the Mediterranean Knights in a match that takes place on matchday three.

Four days later, the teams would face off once more in Benin.

In Sunday’s 1-0 Pirates victory over Richards Bay, Ndah was not present.

The centre back’s injuries from the encounter against Polokwane City are being treated, according to Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro.

Riveiro also alluded to the possibility that Ndah would be absent from Sunday’s MTN8 final at Moses Mabhida Stadium between his team and Stellenbosch.

“In our last game against Polokwane City both Olisa Ndah and Monnapule Saleng were subbed because of different injuries that’s the reason they were not playing (against Richards Bay),” Riveiro was quoted by hollywoodbets.net.

“And actually we’re not 100% sure that they are going to be at the final (against Stellenbosch).”

Augustine Eguavoen, the interim coach of the Super Eagles, is anticipated to reveal his team this week for the matches against Libya.
