Algeria and Togo ware set to face off in Thursday’s Group E Africa Cup of Nations AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
The hosts are keen to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign after winning both of their opening games to top the group.
The hosts also have a strong home record, having not lost an AFCON qualifying match at home since 2007.

They will be optimistic about building on their recent success under their new manager.
Algeria is in high spirits going into this match against Togo, leading the table with six points.
With only two points from as many games, Togo is in second place behind their hosts and needs to gain points to separate themselves from the other two teams in the group in order to keep their hopes of qualifying alive.
The visitors have found it difficult to win this qualifying campaign, relying mainly on the individual skill of their best players, as evidenced in their most recent match, a 2-2 draw against Equatorial Guinea, where they needed a late equaliser from Kodjo Fo Doh Laba to salvage a point.
