Chipolopolo skipper Clatous Chama has called on the fans to come in full voice at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium when the Chipolopolo face Chad on Friday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Chama said the team was ready for the assignment on Friday. “We are trying all our level best to be ready for tomorrow’s (Friday) match. It is a very important match, obviously we also want the fans to come in numbers,” said Chama.
“We know what is at stake and we need just to be at our level best.”
The Young Africans midfielder backed the replacements for the injured players to rise to the occasion. “Injuries will happen, those things that are normal in football. Players (new) have the chance and opportunity. Sometimes one man’s bad situation is another’s good news. They are equal to the task and will perform well. We are already whatever happens,” he said.
Chama will skipper the Chipolopolo on Friday when they face the Les Sao at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola with kickoff set for 15:00 hours.
Tickets for the match are selling across Shoprite outlets via Computicket with prices pegged at K40 (North&South), K50 (East), K150 (West) and K500 (VIP).
