Uganda captain Khalid Aucho has warned his teammates about complacency and asserted it is never easy in such games.
The Cranes will return to TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier match against South Sudan slated for Friday, 11th October 2024 at Mandela National Stadium.
“Playing against neighbours is never easy and we do not expect South Sudan to roll a carpet for us. As players, we are cautious about being complacent and we will give in our best to make sure that victory is ours,” explained Aucho ahead of the game.
Uganda has four points from the first two games and will be seeking to remain in the right path of qualification by winning at home ago South Sudan.
The two countries will then face off on Tuesday next week at Juba Stadium for the return leg.
