FIFA U17 WORLD CUP Copper Princesses step up preps for World Cup at La Salle in Santiago

The Zambia U17 Women’s National Team continued their preparations for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with an intense training session at La Salle School, a private educational institution in Santiago de los Caballeros.

The Carol Kanyemba-Daka led Copper Princesses worked on fine-tuning their tactics under the sweltering heat of the Caribbean climate as they prepared for the eighth edition of the World Cup that will run from 16 October – 3 November in the cities of Santiago de los Caballeros and Santo Domingo.

Daka expressed satisfaction with the progress being made by the team, especially in acclimatizing to the conditions and getting competition-ready.

On (Sunday), the Copper Princesses will move to Santo Domingo, where they will wrap their final preparations before their opening Group D match against Brazil on 18 October, followed by clashes against Poland and Japan on 21st and 23rd October respectively at the Estadio Felix Sanchez.
