The excitement of the Ghana Premier League continued on Matchday 7, delivering thrilling encounters and surprising results. Here’s a round-up of the day’s action: 

Asante Kotoko 1-0 Samartex 

Asante Kotoko edged Samartex with a narrow 1-0 victory, clinching the three points in front of their passionate fans. A resilient defense helped Kotoko hold on after taking the lead, keeping them further up the league table with second position.

GoldStars 2-0 Aduana FC 

GoldStars put on an impressive display at home, defeating Aduana FC 2-0. The hosts controlled the game from start to finish, showing their intent to challenge the top teams this season. They currently occupy the first position 

Dreams FC 0-0 Hearts of Oak 

Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak played out a goalless draw in a cagey encounter. Both teams missed a few chances to take the lead, leaving fans with shared spoils in a highly tactical affair.  Hearts 10th and Dreams on the 17th of the league table.

Karela United 1-0 Heart of Lions

Karela United secured a 1-0 win over Heart of Lions, continuing their solid run at home. The hosts looked determined throughout, and their hard-fought victory kept their unbeaten home streak intact. 

Vision FC 1-1 Bechem United 

Vision FC and Bechem United played out an entertaining 1-1 draw, with both sides creating numerous chances. Neither team could find the winner, settling for a point each in this evenly contested encounter. 

Nsoatreman 2-0 Holy Stars

Nsoatreman picked up a crucial 2-0 win over Holy Stars, dominating the game with fluid play and clinical finishing. This victory gives Nsoatreman a much-needed boost in the mid-table battle. Last season’s Ghana rep of the CAF Confederation competition seems to be picking it points gradually.

Berekum Chelsea 3-1 Legon Cities 

Berekum Chelsea delivered an emphatic 3-1 victory against Legon Cities. Their attacking prowess was on full display, outclassing their opponents and delighting the home crowd with a commanding performance.  Legon Cities are currently last on the league table.

Matchday 7 provided plenty of drama, with key victories for Asante Kotoko, GoldStars, and Berekum Chelsea, while Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC missed the chance to gain ground. The Ghana Premier League remains unpredictable, promising even more excitement in the coming weeks.
