Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has named Ahmed Musa the Sports Ambassador of Kano State.
Musa’s lengthy dedication to local and national youth empowerment and sports development is reflected in the appointment.
In his new position, he will be in charge of projects meant to develop young talent and encourage a vibrant sports culture throughout Kano State.

To thank them for the appointment, the 32-year-old took to X.
“I am deeply honoured to be appointed as the Sports Ambassador for Kano State! ,” Musa wrote.
“This opportunity is quite humbling, and I’m excited to work towards empowering the youth and promoting sports development across the state. ⚽ Kano has a rich sporting heritage, and I can’t wait to contribute to building a brighter future for our athletes and communities.

Musa has been instrumental to Kano Pillars since his return to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
