Nigeria Super Eagles Soar In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria rose from 39th to 36th place in the most recent FIFA men’s world ranking.

Today, Thursday, October 24, FIFA’s website announced the most recent world ranking.

The Super Eagles also improved, rising from sixth to fourth place in Africa.

The Eagles trail Senegal (20th), Egypt (30th), and Morocco (13th), Africa’s top-ranked team in the world.

In Group D of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, Benin Republic, who will host the Eagles on matchday five, fell to 95th place in the rankings.

Rwanda, the AFCON qualifiers’ matchday 6 opponent, rose to 126 in the most recent ranking, while Libya fell to 122.
