Ahead of his team’s match against Ghana, Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu is feeling upbeat.
On Wednesday evening in Lome, the defending champions will play the Black Satellites in the WAFU B U-20 Championship final. Zubairu’s team overcame a sluggish start to secure a spot in the competition’s final.
The Ghanaians’ strength was acknowledged by the coach, but he vowed that they would take advantage of it.

“Ghana are a good team, but they’re not fast.
” They don’t play with high intensity,” he said ahead of the game.
“We’re also aware of the rivalry with Ghana at any level.
“We have grown in this tournament, we have improved with each match.
“We’re prepared and we’re going all-out as defending champions who want to retain their title.”
