Ahead of their Oriental derby matchup with Heartland, Sunday Megwo, a striker for the Abia Warriors, is feeling upbeat.

The Naze Millionaires will play Imama Amapakabo’s team on Sunday at Umuahia Township Stadium.

Bendel Insurance lost to Abia Warriors 1-0 on the road last weekend.

According to Megwo, the team’s recent performance will be crucial in defeating their rivals, he told NPFL media.

“We are confident going into this match,” Megwo said.

“We have been working hard in training and we are determined to get a positive result.

“Heartland is a tough team, but we believe we have what it takes to win.”

This season, he has made nine appearances for the Umuahia club and scored four goals.
