Ligue 1 Kombouaré Confirms Moses Simon Availability For Marseille Game

Moses Simon has been cleared by Nantes boss Antoine Kombouaré to play in Sunday’s Ligue 1 matchup against Olympic Marseille.

Due to an injury, the winger was left off of Nantes’ roster for last week’s 3-1 away loss to Strasbourg.

This week, the Nigerian international resumed training and is prepared to play.

Moses Simon is back with us. He had minor knee problems,” Kombouaré told a press conference.

In eight league games this season, the 29-year-old has netted two goals for the Canaries.

Nantes has 10 points after nine games, good for 12th place in the Ligue 1 standings.

Nigeria would benefit greatly from his return to training as they prepare for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Rwanda and the Benin Republic.

On Thursday, November 13, the Super Eagles will travel to the Benin Republic.

Four days later, they would perform for Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
