A tense and occasionally brutal 1-1 match between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday kept the London teams tied for first place in the Premier League.
However, they were still nine points behind champions Liverpool.
The visitors took the lead in the 60th minute when Gabriel Martinelli turned in a well-lifted ball from skipper Martin Odegaard, whose impact on his comeback from injury was vital following the Gunners’ inability to score in their previous two games.

Ten minutes later, Chelsea equalised when replacement Enzo Fernandez pushed the ball to Pedro Neto, who was always energetic, just outside the Arsenal area.
The Portuguese then moved sideways and went low to David Raya’s left.
With 19 points, the outcome moved Chelsea up to third place and Arsenal down to fourth place in the standings.
