Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Bayelsa United, Ikorodu City Get Away Win As Enyimba Share Spoils With Remo

The Matchday 11 of the Nigeria Premier Football League produced another exhilarating results as newly promoted Ikorodu City rallied to a 2-1 win against Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.

The Victory was the Oga Boys first away victory of the season.
At eighteen minutes, Katsina United took the lead thanlcieks to Moses Effiong.

One minute prior to halftime, Solomon Alade gave Ikorodu City the equaliser. In the 89th minute, Emmanuel Solomon gave the visitors the victory.

The South South derby saw Bayelsa United defeat Rivers United 1-0 in Port Harcourt.

The past two league games for Rivers United have already ended in defeat.

At the Lafia City Stadium, Kwara United defeated Nasarawa United 1-0 to record their third away victory of the day.

In stoppage time in the first half, Emmanuel Ogbole scored the game-winning goal. In Aba, Remo Stars held nine-time champions Enyimba to a scoreless draw.

Heartland defeated Sunshine Stars 1-0 at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri thanks to a goal from Christian Nnaemeka.

Papa Daniel scored the game-winning goal two minutes after halftime as the Niger Tornadoes defeated Akwa United 1-0 at the Bako Kontagaro Stadium in Minna.

Also, Kano Pillars on Saturday picked a vital away point with a 1-0 win against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
