COSAFA COSAFA: Zambia’s Kanyemba Names 34 Princesses in Provisional Squad

Zambia U17 Women National Team coach Carol Kanyemba has named a 34-member provisional squad for the COSAFA Under-17 Girls Championship 2024 which will be hosted in Maputo from December 5-15.

Kanyemba has retained eight players from the Copper Princesses squad that competed at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Dominican Republic 2024, most of whom have graduated to the U20 level.

Zambia has been drawn in Group C alongside Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mauritius in Group C. Hosts Mozambique are in Group A with Comoros, Eswatini, and Lesotho while Group B comprises South Africa, Malawi, Namibia, and Madagascar.
