Kennedy Boboye has left his role as head coach of Sunshine Stars, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
After Sunshine Stars’ 1-0 loss against Heartland on Sunday at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Boboye made the choice.
The former Plateau United manager justified his decision by claiming that the club’s management had interfered excessively.

Last season, the former international made a second appearance at the Akure club.
The 50-year-old contributed to the Sunshine Stars’ continued dominance in the Premier League.
With 13 points after 11 games, Sunshine Stars are presently in 14th place in the NPFL standings.
