Minnows Lesotho and Central African Republic might decide Group B at the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday night at the Free State Toyota Stadium.
This match will take place in nearby South Africa because Lesotho is one of 18 nations that cannot host home qualifiers due to CAF’s ruling that their facilities are insufficient.
Lesotho, who have only managed to gain one point from their first four games, will play their remaining games in this group as a formality because they are already out of the running for qualifying.

A loss here would eliminate the Central African Republic’s chances of making it to the tournament in Morocco the following year, so this game is crucial.
Unfortunately for the Les Fauves, who have only managed to score three points so far and are now four points behind Gabon in second place, qualifying is out of their grasp because even a victory in this game would not be sufficient if the Panthers defeat Morocco in the other group match.
CAR had a strong start to their qualifiers, defeating this opponent 3-1 in the opening group encounter.
However, they lost three straight games between rounds two and four, giving up 11 goals and failing to score at all.
