CAF CONFEDERATION CUP CAFCC: Tanzania’s Simba SC Lose first group game against CS Constantine

Simba SC suffered a 2-1 defeat away to CS Constantine in a Group A match of the 2024/2025 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.

Mohamed Husseini Mohamed gave the visiting Tanzanian side the lead after 24 minutes at the Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine in Algeria.

But the hosts fought back strongly before Simba SC’s Abdulrazack Hamza netted an own goal to make it 1-1 after 46 minutes. Four minutes later Brahim Dib put CS Constantine ahead to make it 2-1.

The two sides continued to create several scoring opportunities, but the home side stood firm to collect maximum points to keep top of the log. CS Constantine lead the log with six points.
