According to Muna Sports, Mbarara City FC has petitioned FUFA and UPL, alleging KCCA FC fielded ineligible player Gavin Kizito Mugweri in their January 7 match.

Mugweri accumulated three yellow cards prior to the match, making him ineligible. Despite this, he played the full 90 minutes as KCCA won 2-0.

Mbarara City FC provided evidence, including screenshots, match reports, and video footage. If found guilty, KCCA FC may face sanctions, including forfeiture of points.
