Wydad AC has officially announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Samuel Obeng on a free transfer. The 27-year-old joins the Moroccan giants after leaving Portuguese side Casa Pia, where he spent the last season.

Obeng, a former Ghana U23 international, arrives at Wydad with high expectations, bringing pace, versatility, and goal-scoring ability to the team’s attack. His move comes as part of Wydad’s efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the business end of the Botola Pro League season and their push for CAF Champions League glory.

Obeng previously played for Real Oviedo in Spain before making the switch to Casa Pia in Portugal. Now, he embarks on a new challenge in Morocco, where he will look to make a significant impact in one of Africa’s most competitive leagues.
