Tanzanian international Malaika Meena excited upon signing for Barclays Women’s Championship side, Bristol City Women FC.

The midfielder signed few days ago for Bristol City on a two-and-a-half-year deal with the option of a further year. “I’m very excited to sign for Bristol City, especially with the ambition of this club, fighting for promotion,” she said.

Meena has also been summoned ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2026 qualifiers where Tanzania face Equatorial Guinea in the first round.
