Bayern Munich has secured the future of one of its brightest stars, as Jamal Musiala has signed a contract extension until 2030. The 21-year-old German international, who has been a key figure for the club since breaking into the first team, is now set to continue his journey at the Allianz Arena.
Musiala expressed his excitement after signing the deal: “I am really happy. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I took my first steps in professional football here and I am convinced that we can achieve something great in the years to come.”
However, despite the long-term extension, Bayern may still face a challenge in keeping him for the full duration. According to Bild, Musiala’s new contract includes a release clause set at €175 million, making him an attractive target for Europe’s biggest clubs. With his talent and continued development, it wouldn’t be surprising if clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, or PSG consider triggering that clause in the future.
Financially, the new deal is also a big win for the young star, who will now earn €25 million per year. While Bayern fans can celebrate keeping their midfield maestro for now, the presence of that release clause means the Musiala transfer saga might not be over just yet.
