Russia and Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play each other in a high-profile international friendly in June.
The friendly will take place on Friday, June 6, according to information on the Russian Football Union’s official website, RFU.
However, the organisers have not yet determined the location of the meeting.

On Tuesday, June 10, Russia and Belarus, two European nations, will play another friendly match.
In March, they had a friendly matchup with Zambia, another African team.
In a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match, the Super Eagles will play the Amavubi of Rwanda and the Warriors of Zimbabwe in March.
The match versus Rwanda is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at Kigali’s Amahoro Stadium.
Four days later, Nigeria would host Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
