Women's AFCON Malawi’s Scorchers arrive in Zambia for Copper Queens friendly

The first group of the Malawi National Women’s Football team comprising of three officials and five players has arrived in Lusaka, Zambia ahead of two friendly games against the Cooper Queens.

The team is being accommodated at the Golden Zambezi Hotel. The second group of 11 players and three officials will leave on Tuesday while the last group of three players and six officials will depart on Thursday.

European-based players Tabitha Chawinga, Rose Kabzere, Vanessa Chikupira, and Bernadetta Mkandawire will join the squad in Zambia on Wednesday.
