FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP Zambia’s Copper Princesses wind up preps for Serengeti Girls test

The Zambia U17 Women’s National Team has concluded its final training session at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola ahead of Saturday’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second round, second leg qualifier against the Serengeti Girls of Tanzania.

The Copper Princesses head into the decisive fixture with a commanding 3-0 lead from the first leg in Dar es Salaam, courtesy of a brace from captain Mercy Chipasula and a goal from Grace Phiri. With a place in the third and final round of qualifiers at stake, Zambia will be looking to finish the job in front of their home fans.

Kick-off for the match is set for 15h00 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium and tickets available from as low as K20 via Computicket in all Shoprite stores.

The winner over the two legs will advance to face either Benin or DR Congo in the last hurdle before securing a ticket to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup set for Morocco later this year.
