Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored twice to surpass Segun Odegbami’s record in Nigeria’s all-time top scorers in Nigeria’s 2-0 FIFA World Cup Qualifier win against Rwanda in Kigali.
Osimhen scored the 11th minute of the first half to give the Super Eagles a commanding victory in Kigali, in what was his 24th goal for Nigeria when he converted a well-delivered freekick from Ademola Lookman.

Osimhen’s goals have pushed him up to the second position in Nigeria’s chart with 25 goals, surpassing Odegbami’s record.
He is currently pursuing the late Rashidi Yekini’s 37-goal record.
