FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP Five African Referees Selected for FIFA Club World Cup Tournament

Five top African referees have been named among a historic pool of 117 match officials selected by FIFA for the upcoming Club World Cup tournament. The officials, drawn from 41 FIFA member associations, include 35 referees, 58 assistant referees, and 24 video match officials.

Representing the African continent are:

Dahane Beida – Mauritania

Mustapha Ghorbal – Algeria

Ibrahim Mutaz – Libya

Jean Jacques Ndala – DR Congo

Issa Sy – Senegal

Their selection highlights the growing influence and recognition of African match officials on the global stage, as they continue to perform at the highest levels of the game.
