Africa Soccer Gambia FA FF Cup competition set to kick off

The Gambia Football Federation is informing all first and second division women’s league clubs that the 2024/25 FF Cup competition will commence at the first round of the domestic league competition.

This decision was reached at the Competitions Organizing Committee’s meeting held at the Secretariat in Kanifing. The format stipulates that the 12 division two clubs will face each other in six playoff matches. The six winners from the elimination rounds will join the 10 first division clubs for the rounds of 16.

The round of 16 pairings will be balloted randomly where the first club from the ballot will be considered home team and second will be the away team in each round. The round of 16, quarter finals, semi finals and final will be determined by the tournament bracket as per the 2023/24 format.

All clubs are reminded that they may be scheduled within 48 hours in accordance with the GFF rules and regulations.
