The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially announced a landmark partnership with Royal Air Maroc, naming Morocco’s national carrier the Official Global Partner for the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024. This strategic alliance extends to other key competitions, including the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 and U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025, the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2024/2025 Finals, the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2024/2025 Finals, and the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025.
The agreement marks a significant moment for both CAF and Royal Air Maroc, reinforcing the airline’s role as a vital link between Africa and the rest of the world, while showcasing Morocco’s growing influence as a global sporting destination. As the country gears up to host the men’s AFCON from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, and the Women’s AFCON from 5 to 26 July 2025, the partnership underscores a broader ambition to deliver world-class tournaments that reflect the passion and potential of African football.
CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe welcomed the announcement, stating:
