Sierra Leone National U-20 team, the Shooting Stars, have safely arrived in Egypt ahead of the much-anticipated CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2025.

The delegation touched down at Cairo International Airport this morning at around 8:00AM and has since settled in at the beautiful Mercure Hotel in the historic city of Ismailia, located in North-Eastern Egypt.

A statement from Sierra Leone Football Federation read in part: “With spirits high and eyes on glory, the team will hold their first training session this evening at 6:00PM as they begin final preparations for the tournament. Let’s rally behind the boys as they prepare to make Sierra Leone proud on the continental stage.”
