African players abroad Kudus Ends Goal Drought, Hits Milestone Despite West Ham’s Defeat to Brighton

Mohammed Kudus was back on the scoresheet for West Ham United, netting in their narrow loss to Brighton in the Premier League. Despite the unfortunate result for the Hammers, it was a special moment for Kudus as he reached an important personal milestone.

With his goal against Brighton, Kudus has now achieved 20 direct goal contributions (goals and assists combined) in his Premier League career. Fittingly, his return to scoring came against the same opponent he last scored against — ending a 16-game drought.

The goal was well-worked, with Jarrod Bowen providing the assist. Kudus showed his trademark composure to finish clinically and momentarily lift West Ham’s hopes during the game.

So far this season, the Ghanaian star has made 31 appearances for West Ham across all competitions, tallying 4 goals and 3 assists — a solid return for his debut Premier League campaign.

While the result wasn’t in West Ham’s favor, Kudus’ performance was a bright spot, reminding fans of his quality and resilience as the season enters its final stretch.
