Kaizer Chiefs and midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane have mutually agreed to part ways.
The 30-year-old player joined Amakhosi from Cape Town City at the beginning of the 2023/24 season. Last season, in order to accumulate some game-time after recovering from injury, he spent the latter part the campaign on loan at Richards Bay FC.
During his time with Chiefs, Mdantsane made 16 appearances across all competitions. The transfer comes just a few days after the club and defender Edmilson Dove parted ways.
The Mozambican international, who joined Amakhosi in August 2022 after spending six months with UD Songo in Mozambique, became an integral part of the team.
During his three seasons with the Glamour Boys, he played a total of 56 official matches, showcasing his talent and dedication on the field as a left-back and a centre-back. A leader by example, he wore the captain’s armband on a few occasions and also contributed two goals for Club.
