Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL have parted ways with their head coach Evans Ogenyi.

When Ogenyi’s contract with the former NPFL champions expired, he left.

The 2023–24 NFPL season saw him selected as a member of the Rivers United coaching staff.

Ahead of the upcoming season, Ogenyi is reportedly slated to join a new team.

He was a part of the Lobi Stars’ 2018 NPFL championship.

Kano Pillars returned to the NPFL in 2023 under Ogenyi’s guidance.
