The Chairman of the Delta State Football Association Chief Godwin Adode, has charged players of Warri Wolves to go all out for victory in the forthcoming Nigeria National League Super 8 scheduled to kickoff on Saturday July 5 at the Steven Keshi International Stadium Asaba.
Adode charged the players to strive and maintain the form that saw them qualify for thr Super 8 in a bid to gain promotion to the elite division as Deltans had been yearning for elite football in the last 4 years.
The DFA Chairman said the players must see themselves as ambassadors of the State as they carry the hopes and aspirations of over 5 million Deltans stressing that Warri Wolves was the Pride of Deltans hence they cannot falter now when the peoples hope of getting elite football was already looking likely.
He enjoined the players to remain steadfast and committed to achieving the ultimate goal stressing that haven gone through the season where they finished as group winners they must go one step further by putting the icing on the cake by delivering the promotion ticket.
Chief Adode assured them of the continued support from the government and people of Delta State led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori saying the people were solidly behind them hence they must do the people proud.
He also enjoined Deltans to throng the Steven Keshi International Stadium Asaba to cheer Warri Wolves to victory as they needed the home support to gain promotion to the elite Nigeria Professional Football League.
Warri Wolves would be contending with Crown FC of Ogbomoso, Osun United of Oshogbo and Kun Khalifat of Owerri for the two available slots in the Southern conference of the NNL promotion battle.
