Transfers Siviwe Nkwali joins Stellenbosch FC on long-term deal

Stellenbosch FC have announced that the club has acquired the services of defender Siviwe Nkwali on a long-term contract.

The 20-year-old, who was most recently on the books of Cape Town Spurs, arrives on the back of a successful year in which he helped South Africa win the U-20 CAF Africa Cup of Nations for the first time.

“I’m very happy to be here and grateful to Stellenbosch FC for giving me an opportunity to once again showcase my talents,” Nkwali said. “Stellenbosch has been a top-three club in the past few seasons, and I hope to help the team continue to compete in the league and push for more silverware.

“I will put in 110% for the team and fight for this badge, and I can’t wait for the season to get started.”

Nkwali will wear the No. 14 jersey for Stellenbosch FC during the 2025-26 season.
