Roma have confirmed the departure of English striker Tammy Abraham, who will join Turkish side Besiktas on a season-long loan with a €13 million purchase option. The deal includes a €2 million loan fee and marks the end of Abraham’s chapter in Serie A, where he struggled for consistency following a major knee injury in 2023.
Tammy Abraham, 27, spent last season on loan at AC Milan, registering 10 goals and 7 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions. Despite flashes of form, the former Chelsea forward was unable to convince Roma to reintegrate him into their long-term plans.
With his last England call-up dating back to September 2022, Abraham hopes a fresh start in the Süper Lig can reignite both his club and international career.
