The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations squad numbers for Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been made public.

A jersey number between 1 and 24 has been assigned to each of the 24 players who were chosen.

Christy Ucheibe, a midfielder for Benfica, will wear the prestigious number 10, captain Rasheedat Ajibade will keep her preferred number 15 shirt, and dependable goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie will don the number 16.

Ifeoma Onumonu, another attacker, will continue to use the number 9 shirt, while Asisat Oshoala, an experienced forward, will wear her previous number 8.

Several of the team’s players kept the shirt number they had been using regularly over the previous few years.

Folashade Ijamilusi, Miracle Usani, Shukurat Oladipo, and Shakirat Isah, who were just invited, will wear jersey numbers 20, 21, 4, and 11, respectively.

At the Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, the Super Falcons will play Tunisia in the WAFCON 2024 championships to begin their campaign.
