South Sudan national team head coach N’Sengi Biembe has expressed full confidence in his squad ahead of his debut match against Malawi, declaring his side ready for the challenge.
Speaking to the media during a pre-match press conference, Biembe noted that training sessions have gone smoothly and that he fully trusts his players to deliver on the pitch. While acknowledging Malawi as one of the stronger opponents in the group, the new head coach remains eager to put his squad to the test.
Echoing his manager’s optimism, Captain Peter Maker confirmed that the team is fully prepared and focused. Maker emphasized that the squad has taken all tactical instructions to heart and that it is now up to the players to execute on match day.
While acknowledging their defeat to Malawi in the previous qualifiers, Maker insisted that past results won’t dictate the outcome this time, expressing complete faith in his team’s ability to turn the tables.
