The Sierra Leone Football Association ๐๐๐ ๐ and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (๐ ๐๐๐ ) have signed a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation and promoting football development in both countries.
The agreement was signed today, Monday 17 August 2026, in Rabat, Morocco, by ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ. ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ข ๐๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐.
Under the agreement, the two football bodies will collaborate in areas including ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐ก๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐, ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ.
The partnership will also support the development of football infrastructure in Sierra Leone through the establishment of a technical training ground in a vulnerable community.
As part of the pact, the Moroccan Federation will host SLFA technical and administrative personnel for training and observation programmes and facilitate access to specialised sports injury hospital facilities.
The two federations also agreed to work together ๐ข๐ง ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ involving senior and youth national teams for both men and women. The agreement will run for an initial period of two years and is renewable upon mutual agreement.
