Ghana international midfielder Elisha Owusu is set to leave French club AJ Auxerre and join Turkish Süper Lig side Erzurumspor on a permanent transfer, according to French sports newspaper L’Équipe.
Owusu is reportedly heading to Turkey to complete the final stages of the move, bringing his three-year spell with Auxerre to an end.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been an important figure for the French side since joining the club, gaining valuable experience in French football and establishing himself as a regular at the highest level.
His move to Erzurumspor will mark a new chapter in his career, with the Ghanaian now set to continue his development in the Turkish top flight.
Owusu previously played for clubs including Lyon, Sochaux and Gent before moving to Auxerre. He has also represented Ghana at international level and remains part of the Black Stars setup.
The permanent transfer to Erzurumspor is expected to be completed once the midfielder finalises the necessary formalities in Turkey.
