StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Princewill Biweribo Tarabina on a two-year contract.
The club confirmed the arrival of the 23-year-old, who can operate in central defence as well as at left-back. “Welcome to Vipers SC, Princewill Biweribo Tarabina,” the club confirmed via their social media platforms.
Tarabina joins Vipers after spells with Nigerian clubs Bayelsa United and Plateau United, adding defensive options to the squad ahead of the new season. His arrival follows the recent departure of Rogers Torach and provides another option for Vipers in the defensive unit.
Tarabina becomes the seventh player to join the Kitende-based side during the current transfer window as they strengthen their squad following another Uganda Premier League title.
He joins Farouk Miya, Loyce Mbaba, Nicholas Mwere, Joel Sserunjogi, Jacques Mangoba and Cesar Manzoki among the club’s new arrivals. Vipers will be looking to integrate the new signings as they prepare for another campaign domestically and in continental competition.
