Ethiopia has formally submitted its bid to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host the 2028 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF), with the backing of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) government, presented its official Bid Handbook outlining the country’s plans and addressing the requirements for hosting Africa’s biggest football competition.
The submission also reaffirmed Ethiopia’s readiness and commitment to successfully stage the prestigious continental tournament.
If successful, Ethiopia would welcome Africa’s leading national teams and football stars for one of the continent’s most celebrated sporting events.
