The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is pleased to announce that the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has become the first international governing body to formally extend its warmest congratulations to Kemo Ceesay following his election as GFF President at yesterday’s Elective Congress.

In an official letter signed by EFA President Eng. Hany Abo Rida, the Egyptian football chief expressed full confidence in President Ceesay’s leadership and vision for Gambian football’s future.

“On behalf of myself and the Board of the Egyptian Football Association, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your election as President of the Gambia Football Federation,” wrote Eng. Hany Abo Rida. “I wish you every success in your new role and am confident that, under your leadership, Gambian football will continue to develop and achieve further success at both the national and international levels.”

The EFA also reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening the bilateral relationship and close technical cooperation between the two federations to advance the growth of the beautiful game both locally and across the African continent.

The GFF accepts these heartfelt wishes with great appreciation and looks forward to fostering an even stronger partnership with the EFA as President Kemo Ceesay begins his tenure focused on unity, progress, and sustainable football development.
