Ghana U20 women’s national team head coach Charles Sampson says the Black Princesses are fully prepared for their crucial encounter with France, insisting his players are ready to execute their tactical plan and fight for victory.
Sampson explained that the focus was largely on tactics ahead of the decisive clash.
“The girls are ready. This practice is just tactical as to how we want to play. So now it’s just up to us to go out and deliver,” he said.»
The coach acknowledged the importance of the fixture and revealed that the team is hoping for a positive outcome when the two sides meet.
“We are hoping and praying that it becomes our day” Sampson added.
With qualification at stake, the Black Princesses are expected to approach the game with an attacking mindset, with Sampson setting a clear objective for his team.
“The expectation is to be able to dominate and win the game,” he stated.
Ghana will therefore look to translate their preparations into a strong performance against France as they pursue a historic place in the knockout stage.
