Rwanda’s Rayon Sports FC have advanced to the second preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup after playing out a 0-0 draw against Panthère Sportive du Ndé.
The stalemate in the second leg left the tie level at 1-1 on aggregate, but Rayon Sports progressed on the away-goal rule.
Neither side could find the breakthrough in a tense encounter, with Rayon Sports ultimately doing enough to secure their place in the next round of Africa’s second-tier club competition.
The Rwandan side will now turn their attention to the second preliminary round as they continue their continental campaign.
