UEFA has announced the host venues for the next two Champions League finals. During its executive committee meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece, on Tuesday, European football’s governing body selected Munich to stage the 2028 final.
The decision came as no surprise, with Munich the only candidate that had submitted a bid to host the prestigious event. The 2029 Champions League final will take place at Camp Nou, with Barcelona’s iconic stadium winning the race against Wembley.
UEFA also confirmed the venue for the 2028 Women’s Champions League final, awarding hosting rights to France. The match will take place at Groupama Stadium in Décines, giving French football another major European final to host.
