Uganda Premier League: KCCA, Kataka & Mbarara City seek to get off the mark

Match day four of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues on Wednesday with three matches at three stadia.

In Lugogo, KCCA host Kataka with both teams aiming to get off the mark. The Kasasiro have picked just one point out of a possible nine and must beat desperate Kataka who have one point as well if they are to get their season back on track.

KCCA earned their first season point away to newly promoted Kigezi Home Boyz and failure to beat Kataka will surely call for crisis.

At Rwamanja stadium in Kamwenge, wounded Entebbe UPPC visit Mbarara City. The Printers were beaten by Lugazi 1-0 at home while Mbarara City held early pace setters NEC to a goalless draw in Kamwenge.

Abdallah Mubiru’s men are on six points while the Ankole Lions, from two matches have one point following an opening day defeat to Police. Elsewhere on Wednesday, Lugazi, coming off a decent result away to Entebbe UPPC host Police at Najjembe.

The Cops have had a stop start season with a draw at home to UPDF leaving them frustrated. At the moment, they have four points following a win at home against Mbarara City, then defeat to Blacks Power and a draw against UPDF.
