Ghana international Alexander Djiku has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow until June 2029.
The experienced defender is expected to receive an improved salary as part of the new agreement, reflecting his importance to the Moscow-based club.
Djiku, who joined Spartak Moscow after spells in France and Turkey, has established himself as an important option in the club’s defensive setup, bringing experience and versatility to the backline.
The contract extension would keep the Ghanaian centre-back at Spartak until 2029 and provide further stability at club level as he continues to feature in domestic and international competitions.
Djiku also remains an important member of the Black Stars, with his continued club involvement potentially strengthening his preparations for Ghana’s upcoming international assignments.
